Old Town Pale

The official beer for Old Town (Swindon) A full bodied, easy drinking pale ale brewed with Ahtanum, Hallertau Blanc & El Dorado hops. Smooth, rich malt combined with flavours of stone fruit, cedar and a hint of citrus

Liquid Highway

Golden Ale – 4.5%

The brief was to create an iconic ale for The Thames Path National Trail who were looking to a way of raising awareness and also a way to raise money towards the upkeep of the Thames Path. It was agreed that a golden ale that would satisfy the broadest of demographics was required and therefore a combination of traditional and contemporary hops were used in the brew. The result is a 4.5% full bodied golden with a gentle bitterness and a lingering but restrained fruity finish.

ShootingStar Pilsner

SIBA Silver Medal Award Winner in Keg

Traditional style German Pilsner with a hoppy twist. Lagered for 4 weeks for an ultrasmooth and balanced beer with a bright fruity hop aroma.

American Red Ale – 5.2% (Gluten Free)

Resinous American Red brewed using large amounts of Centennial, Chinook and Cascade at all stages of the brew, big malty backbone with a lingering bitter finish.

Extra Special Bitter– 5.3%

Our take on the classic ESB style. A robust, fruity and full bodied beer brewed with Fuggles and East Kent Goldings and then dry hopped with more EKG. Hints of sweet fruit and spice lead to a caramel malt finish

Bitter – 3.8%

Flapjack Black Woodpecker Edition

Barrel Aged Breakfast Stout - 7.8%

The first of many in barrel aged versions of Flapjack Black. The ‘Woodpecker series’ takes our breakfast stout into the woods… #1 is aged in Four Roses bourbon barrels to give a suitable kick of bourbon on the nose and an addictively smooth and smoky wood finish

Black Ice

Frozen Hop BIPA – 6.0%

Brewed with Fresh Frozen Hops from YCH, this black IPA features Azacca and Simcoe.
Spiky citrus fruit, berries and subtle roasted malt flavours and aromas with a pleasant lingering bitterness and suitably dry finish

Rancho Grande

Coffee Pale - 4.8%

The first of a series of Coffee Pales brewed in collaboration with Light Bulb Coffee, each one featuring a different single varietal coffee bean. Here we showcase the beans grown by Favio ‘Fava’ Reis at his farm Rancho Grande, located in Tres Pontas, Brazil. Tasting notes for the beans feature prominent tropical fruit notes, with further flavours of tamarind, rum and dark chocolate. A light malt base and low hop addition allows the character of the beans to truly shine through

Indian Summer

Amber Ale – 4.5%

An Amber Ale that brings together a smooth, complex malt character with flavours of caramel, toasted bread and rye spice, balanced with US Simcoe and Amarillo hops added in the kettle and the dry hop for bright notes of orange citrus, pine and light floral flavours

Oktoberfest Beer – 6.0%

A rich yellow, bright beer with superb clarity. Aromas of toast and dough, honey and spice and light floral finish. Festbier is a very clean, medium bodied, smooth and creamy beer with medium carbonation. There is a soft sweetness of dough with a hint of very light toast, finishing very clean with a gentle but lingering bitterness balanced perfectly by the malt.

Our take on a classic Irish Dry-style Stout. We don’t simply put a new label on an old beer. We work with you, and the products you sell, to create a brew that is unique to your company, and unlike any other in the world. We form long-term relationships with our clients, providing an ongoing supply that allows their customers to get a taste for a beer that can be found nowhere else.

Hop Kettle Brewing Co. bespoke brews are the work of both concept and know-how. Before we start work on your beer, we familiarize ourselves with you and your product. Our beers are crafted to match your business, in a way that goes far beyond simply matching flavours. We have created a Saison for a Thai restaurant chain that uses ingredients including lime leaves and tamarind in the beer and was created specifically to match the food offering. We have also supplied a coffee chain with a very unusual and unique Pale Ale brewed and cold conditioned with their own home roast coffee beans. Sometimes we use ingredients that might not necessarily be initially associated with the cuisine but through extensive tastings we discover that an added ingredient matches perfectly with their dishes.


Hop Kettle Brewing Co. home, seasonal and experimental beers are brewed and bottled on site at our state of the art Swindon brewery. We are also the proud owners of the multi award winning Brew Pub the Red Lion Inn Cricklade, founded in 2008. We have extensive experience in all areas of the hospitality industry, and when it comes to pairing beers with food, we are far ahead of the curve.
