Our process
After a meeting with the management team of the GRIND and a trial brew of the beer brewed with their house espresso beans, Grind Pale was born. It has also gone on to be a multi Society Of Independent Brewers award winner.
Ingredients
• Malts: Maris Otter, Vienna, Oats
• Hops: Magnum, Amarillo
• Additions: GRIND Espresso beans
SIBA Gold medal winning beer created for Grind Coffee Roasters, London. Our signature pale ale brewed with and then cold conditioned on crushed Grind house Espresso beans. Bursting with rich coffee aromas with an initial hit of espresso, mellowing to a nutty, fruity and dry finish.

Grind was founded in 2011 when David Abrahamovitch took over his father’s Shoreditch mobile phone shop and decided to turn it into a café-bar. In the decade since, Grind has grown to become a cult east London coffee brand, comprising eleven locations, including espresso bars, cocktail bars, restaurants, an international-grade recording studio, and a state-of-the-art coffee roastery.
