Our process
Busaba Eathai were looking for a beer to work perfectly alongside their food offering, the beer was not created for drinking on its own, although it does work well like this also. Due to being a food beer the boundaries could be pushed with punchy flavours complimenting the ingredients used in their iconic menu, following a number of trials and tastings a recipe was settled on incorporating classic Thai flavours including lemongrass, tamarind, ginger and lime leaves. All these ingredients work perfectly in a Saison style beer which is effervescent and relatively dry without too much bitterness which would clash with the heat of the cuisine.

'As you eat, so you are'BUSABA EATHAI ORIGIN

Busaba is a Thai flower. Eathai is a fusion of the words eat and Thai. Differing from formal dining establishments, Eathai represents a Thai casual dining venue, offering a one-course dining experience devised to feed you with minimal fuss. Fifteen years on, Busaba still offers a much coveted, flavoursome selection of freshly prepared salads, stir fries and curries. The menu also features Asian-inspired juices and smoothies, as well as a simple yet selective wine list.
